How is the damage repaired?
The damage is repaired using our unique tooling system and repair process, we access the rear of the dented panel and manipulate the dent back to its original factory finish, sounds very simple but it is a very skilled process.
What if the paint is damaged?
If the paint is damaged we can remove the dent from the panel but it will still need to be painted to rectify the damage to the paint. The benefit of using this process is that no filler will be needed to repair the dent.
Do you need to drill holes to access the rear of the panel?
We operate a no drill policy and by using our specialised tight access tools we can effectively access almost 97% of damage on a standard vehicle. It is a myth that drillings needs to be a part of the PDR process; with the right training and the right tools drilling is not needed.
How much does a repair cost? Why are there no prices quoted on your web site?
Every dent is different and as such it is difficult to give you a price without having an understanding of the damage and the time needed to repair. We always recommend that clients contact us using our online form where they can attach pictures of the dent; we will need to know where the damage is located, the size of the dent, what caused the damage and whether the paint is broken. Once we can answer these questions we will be able to give you an estimate. If you wish to go ahead with the repair we will schedule a time to visit and complete the work.
Why should I not use a local body shop or garage?
PDR is a very specialised skill and the tooling and training needed to compete is very expensive, that is why most body shops and garages sub contract the work to specialists like ourselves. By coming to us direct you cut out the margin that body shops and garages typically add on to the repair cost thus saving you money! Remember we will always come to you as well, saving you the time and cost of a visit to a body shop or garage!
How long will the repair take?
It depends on the damage and the location of the damage, typically we will take less than 1 hour to complete most repairs although some larger damage can take longer. We will give you an estimate of the time to repair when we provide the costed estimate.
How can I pay for the repair?
We accept card payment (2% fee), bank transfer and cash. We will issue a receipt for all work completed.
Is the work guaranteed or do you offer a warranty?
Paintless dent repair involves the manipulation of the dent to its original factory finish without the need to paint the area and as thus guarantee or warranty does not apply because once the repair is completed the repair will not fail at a later time.
Do you need to be under cover or in garage?
No is the honest answer, and the service is fully mobile but in the wet a roof over our heads is appreciated! However, we will need to be able to park close to your car.
